2023: Akpabio to declare for presidency Wednesday

All is now set for the Minister Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio to formally declare his interest to join the 2023 presidential race.

Sen. Akpabio arrived the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, Tuesday night enroute Ikot Ekpene, where the formal declaration is billed to take place tomorrow, Wednesday at Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium, Akwa Ibom State.

The declaration, according to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary CPS, Mr Jackson Udom, is scheduled for 11am on Wednesday 5th May, 2022.

Although Akpabio is declaring for the plump job under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, political bigwigs across party lines are expected at the grand declaration.
