2023: Ex-presidential aspirant, Unagha urges Urhobos to vote for Amori

A former Presidential Aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2015 general elections, Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha, has charged Urhobo people to vote massively for a senatorial candidate in the forthcoming February election, Chief Ighoyota Amori.
Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha made the call when he received a delegation of Urhobo Ethnic National Movement in his residence Ogbudu Street, Evwreni in Delta State.
The prominent Urhobo Leader described Chief Ighoyota Amori as one of the most patriotic and philanthropic Urhobo whose desire is to develop Urhobo devoid of selfishness.
According to him, “Given Chief Amori the opportunity to serve in the senate, he will no doubt attract developmental projects to the entire Urhobo land.”
The renowned legal practitioner challenged the people to go beyond the social media, but to the grassroots to ensure that Amori wins the forthcoming senatorial election.
He warned against voting for Diaspora politicians who after election don’t care if the Urhobo’s are suffering or sinking.
Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha was optimistic that Amori will attract projects to his senatorial district if voted into power.
Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha who was recently appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Government on political matters told the delegation of how Chief Amori uplifted the Urhobo standard during the administration of Chief James Ibori, the former Governor of the state adding that it is the time to pay him of his benevolence.
Earlier in his address, the leader of the delegation Mr. Elvis Ohmeobeno commended the leadership quality and his concern of Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha for the Urhobo nations.
He assured (him) Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha that he will mobilize for Chief Amori no matter the political differences stressing that Urhobo need a visionary and forthright Senator.
The group commended the State Governor for appointing Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha, a Special Senior Adviser, noting that they will vote for quack nor encourage unpatriotic Urhobo to the Senate.
