Elections: Activist, Unagha to host Delta State youths leaders’ meeting

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a former foremost youth leader in Delta State, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha has concluded plans to meet with the past and present youth leaders across the 25 Local Government Areas of the state with a view to taking a common position on the elections.
According to a press statement Alhaji Unagha personally signed, which a copy was made available to NEW ERA in abuja, the meeting is scheduled to review the political development in Delta State and the direction to follow.
Alhaji Unagha, who was the former Vice President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, South South zone, a former presidential Aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, APC, explained further that the meeting which will attract many stakeholders, youth leaders is aimed to achieve a common goal.
He added that youths of the State cannot afford to get it wrong which informs the decision of youth leaders to come together.
The meeting according to Unagha will draw representatives from the various communities, kingdoms, Civil societies voluntary organizations as well as trade Unions.
Alhaji Unagha, who is also and activist according to the statement will also meet with notable youth leaders from the country and to this end, a seven (7) man mobilisation committee has been set up to coordinate the meeting which the venue will be communicated to invites.
According to him, “The upcoming meeting will culminate like the Arab springs”, while stressing further that Nigeria must move ahead so as to maintain the title of grant of Africa.”
