The governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC, for November 11 election in Imo State, Professor James ‘Okoroma has promised to deploy constructive dialogue with all stakeholders with a view to restoring peace and tranquility to the state if voted into office.

Prof. Okoroma also assured the good people of the state of his preparedness to solve the challenges of insecurity through purposefully collaboration with the people.

He was optimistic that useful deliberations and consultations with vital stakeholders will help to birth a new Imo State.

Recall Okoroma, a renowned Professor of Literature and Creative Writing, recently appeared on a live personality interview on Arise Television, where he marshalled out his vision and mission aimed to rescue the Imo State.

Prof. Okoroma noted that genuine interactions and discussions with Imolites is only panacea to end the insecurity and other social vices currently confronting the state.

Promising further to return the state to the path of growth and development, the gubernatorial hopeful stressed further that no state experiencing the kind of stormy situation as presently obtained in Imo State could record meaningful development, hence his determination to create a new Imo through dialogue.

The ADC candidate, while assuring he has solutions to mileage of problems facing the state, however lambasted the leadership style of the current administration for failing to attend to yearning and aspiration of the people.

“The bane of the state is the lack of political will and clear cut ideas by leadership to study the mood of the people, adding, “You can’t steer a state to the path of growth without understanding the conscious state of mind of the people you claimed to govern.”

He vowed to leave no stone unturned to actualize his dream for the state by rescuing it from the clutches of bad leadership that is holding it down from making the expected progress over the years.
