Meanwhile, the Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has mourned late Mr. Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung whose death occurred on 18/12/2023.
National Secretary of CUPP, High Chief Reter Ameh, in a condolence message lamented that the death of the former Minister Dalung’s father has brought indescribable pain and depression into his heart
It reads; “Condolence Message on the death of your Dearest Father late Mr. Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung whose death occurred on 18/12/2023.
“Our stay on this earth is not permanent, as such everybody must die. Loosing someone very close to you or any of your family member is one of the most difficult things to bear.
“The difficulty experienced during this period is due to the bonds you both have created dating many years before his departure from this sinful word. Knowing the fact that he won’t exist here on earth anymore makes it more painful and memorable….bringing with it Nostalgic moments.
“However, losing a father who is the foundation and the strength of family is heartbreaking.
“The death of father brings indescribable pain and depression into the heart. The only panacea to this sad moment is word of comfort and care from us your neighbors and friends.
“Words of condolence brings peace to the mind and also gives strength to push through the trying time. But it has been discovered that most people finds it difficult to get the words to offer to the bereaved.
“The truth is, no word is right, and no word is perfect to offer, but we are extremely sorry to hear about your loss. He has definitely left an indelible impact.
“Although, I didn’t get to know your dad personally, but from meeting you I know that he’s a man of integrity and he has raised best of the world’s children to continue his good works.
“I know vou and vour family at large will surely miss his presence in your midst. Rest on PAPA. I papa has gone home to rest until we meet again in glory. ”
The ex-Minister, while announcing the death of his father via a social media platform earlier, said, “While making final preparations for my mother’s burial on Saturday, 23/11/2023, I received yesterday, 18/12/2023, another devastating news of the passage of my father, Nimgbak William Fabong Dalung, at the age of 105 years.
“When he received the news of my mother’s exit, he called and commiserated with me. My father appreciated my modest efforts in taking care of them. He finally left me with these words, “Take heart because I am also on my way.” Was these the parting gift, my beloved Nimgbak?
“Until his exit, Nimgbak Dalung was a retired Director of Health with Taraba State Local Government Service Commission.
“Good night, till we meet again at the great assembly, but for now, we are welcome to the community of orphans.”
