NDDC: Prophetess pleads with Tinubu to reappoint Ogboku’s board for second tenure

….Says MD working to actualize President’s Renewed Hope agenda for N-Deltans
….Goes spiritual against demons plotting to destabilize the Commission

A Prophetess and founder of Port Harcourt based Victorious Prayer Network Inc. a.k.a Kings Maker Ministry, Evang. Mrs. Victoria Ebi Agori has appealed to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to reappoint the current board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for another tenure of four years.

Evang. Agori, who made the appeal, while addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, urged Tinubu to retain Chief Dr. Samuel Ogboku as the Managing Director of NDDC to enable him accomplish the good work he started in the Niger Delta region.

She noted that Dr. Ogboku was working in harmony with all stakeholders and international donor agencies to actualize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda in the region.

Evang. Agori, who fingered some people in alleged plot to destabilize the NDDC management, however called on the decorators to in the name of Jesus to desist from their selfish attributes
to lobbying the presidency to dismiss the Board of the NDDC.

Tagging them as barbaric and enemies of progress, Evang. Agori pointed out the subject of the provision of the section (4) of the NDDC establishment Act:, which stipulated that “A member of the board other than an ex-officio member shall hold office for a term of four (4) years at the first instance, may be reappointed for a further four (4) years and no more.”

She therefore submitted that Dr. Ogboku should be retained for second tenure in office to work towards actualizing Mr..President’s Renewed Hope agenda.

She further pleased with President Tinubu and his wife, Sen. Pst. Oluremi Tinubu the first lady of Nigeria to please allow Chief Dr. Samuel Ogboku to remain in the office to serve out his second tenure by reappointing him as the Managing Director of NDDC.

“Our prayer is that God should give him and his wife long life, grace, mercy
and prosperity, the strength to pilot the affairs of our dear country Nigeria for the better if not the best.

“We are also in support of him to complete his tenure as the incumbent President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria both physically and spiritually and that God should give him.wisdom and those appointed in his cabinet to join him to change the country to a greater height in the name of Jesus. Amen!

“The Managing Director/CEO of NDDC as I speak he is supporting a three (3) days fasting and prayer conference for the benefit of Mr. President and his wife for the betterment, progress, peace, stability and tranquility to reign in the nation.

‘More so, a skill acquisition program is in progress in both Rivers and Bayelsa States respectively under the NDDC to train about 1,000 persons including youths on various skills such as
video voverage, catering, beads/ bag making, English hat making, shoe making, barbing, etc for a period of six months which is in line harmoniously to actualize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

“The essence of the skill acquisition program tagged “NIGER DELTA SKILL ACQUISITION” is to improve people’s
life by offering the best thinking, disciplinary approaches to human
development, to provide the platform through which men and women
with talents can showcase with.

“To create an enabling environment that
engages youths, men and women into viable business and contributes to.building a better society. To encourage the youths, men and women to always look inwards in their aspirations and embrace the self-reliance option instead of waiting in vain for white-collar jobs.

“To help in harnessing skills and talents, support creative art and promote self-.reliance among men and women, to approach problems from different
angles and learn new skills to equip oneself for the future so as to
reduce youth unemployment and promoting self-sustenance and self-
reliance among the youth, men and women.

“The MD is also facilitating an internship program for Niger Deltans which successful applicants will be trained and paid N50,000 every Month for a period of one year. This program kickS-off from December 2024.”

Evang. Agori raised her voice again the demon bewildering the NDDC not to allow any Managing Director to completetheir four years tenure in the commission.

“And as the JAGABAN, the EMILOKAN which God has used him to change our national anthem, to also use him to break that yoke under his tenure in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

“And let God take the glory. Chief Dr. Samuel Ogboku is a very good and God fearing man in his approach to both his cabinet and.the people of Niger Delta and we are happy with him”, she said.

She also use the medium to plead with Engr. Adokie Tomboye the former Executive Vice President upstream NNPC Abuja begging the President and his wife a reappointment for him, because he worked assiduously for the country and the whole world globally and he is still in full support of this government and not only that, he is also in support of our programmes for the nation.

Kindly reconsider him, she pleaded and that the President should not give a listening ear to those organizations black mailing him. They are jealous of what he did when he was in office.

He is one of the philanthropist we can mention in Nigeria as a
whole. He should not mind them. And if they don’t desist, they will face the
wrath of God in the name of Jesus she said.

“Finally, it is our prayer that God in His infinite mercy to use President
Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed in moving the country forward and to
bring back the milk and honey to flow which He has designed for us as
far back 1960 to his glory in Jesus mighty name Amen.”
