Children of Late Brafade Pays Emotional Tribute to their Mother

The Children of Late Gladys Endoro-ere Brafade ( Nee Nwankego) has paid tribute to their mother, who they said, was a pillar to them before her demise.

Speaking on behalf of the Children during the mother’s funeral rites last week at Okoloba Community, Bomadi LGA, Delta State, Vera Brafade noted that her mother’s peculiar traits and exemplary lifestyle was something she and her siblings would miss.

“We will miss our mother greatly because of her believe that family language should be love, unity, peace, harmony and neighborliness if they want to succeed collectively” she said.

Reading out her mother’s biography, Vera said her mother began her primary education at Oge Primary school Okoloba Community and later attended secondary School. During her secondary school days, she was an active member of the women football Association.

She noted that her mother discontinued her secondary School due to circumstances beyond her control and got married to late Ekioantonyebo Brafade in 1971. The union was blessed with five Children.

She pointed out that due to better greener pastures, her parents sojourned to Bali Town, Bali Local Government Area in present Taraba State.

Speaking further, she said, even at Taraba State, her mother’s language remained love, unity, peace, harmony and neighborliness.

She emphasized that late mama Gladys
Ndoro-ere Brafade relocated to Warri, Delta State on demise of her husband and single handedly took care of the upbringing of the Children.

She said her mother was a successful business woman and devoted Christian who emplace the priority of God first in all her dealing while alive.

Madam Brafade charged Families and Nigerians at large to speak her mother ‘s language at home, in Church, political gathering, office, market and other places because according to her it was the panacea for peaceful coexistence.

She thanked Sen. James Manager who was represented by his wife Mrs Ebibo-ere Manager, Hon. Nicholas Mutu, the member representing Bomadi/ Patani federal Constituency in the National Assembly who was represented by his campaign DG , Chief Okokolo Carter and others who attended the Burial ceremony for their support.
