A former Presidential aspirant in the 2019 general elections under the All progressives Congress APC, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha has called for the scrapping of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC.

Alhaji Unagha, who made the call in Abuja shortly after submitting a protest letter to the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said the Commission has outlived its usefulness

According to him, “No Federal Government agency in Nigeria is as corrupt as the NDDC especially under this present management of the Commission.

Alhaji Unagha who is also a leader of Urhobo Ethnic Nationality in Delta State vowed to open up if the Commission failed or refused to address his plight.

Speaking to journalists, the former foremost youth leader in the country noted that he will mobilize the people to protest against the Commission if the management closes its ears against his request.

He pointed out that the Commission is carrying out selective justice and preferential treatment in its dealings, stressing that he did a job and the money was cut into two.

He stressed that several attempt to reach out to the management of the Commission proved abortive.. “I will open up the Commission”, he said. He decried the treatment being meted at him as wicked and unjust
