2027: Unagha advises Urhobos not to contest against Gov. Oborevwori

An Urhobo ethnic nationality leader and former Publicity Secretary of the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Alhaji Barr. Mumakai Unagha has appealed to intending governorship aspirants in the state especially from Delta Central in the 2027 general elections to drop their ambition.
Alhaji Unagha stated this when he received members of the Urhobo Study Group who came to rejoice with him on his recovery from health challenges.
He told the visitors that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a better road master and bridge builder, adding that those who want to challenge him should have a rethink before jumping into the contest.
The former APC Presidential aspirant noted that the Urhobos cannot afford to disappoint the Governor who is doing the Urhobos proud.
Alhaji Unagha who is also a member of the study Group maintained that the Urhobo will not send bench warmers to the National Assembly any longer, pointing out that the Assembly is not meant for sleeping giants.
He told the August visitors that he is grateful to God for sparing his life after spending several months in the hospital.
According to him, “I will not be involves in serious politicking.”
He maintained that he not holding brief for the Governor but as a patriotic Urhobo i must defend and protect the Governor
