Obedient Movement inaugurates Borno Chapter, commits to inclusive governance

Abuja, Sept. 25, 2025 (NAN)The Obedient Movement (OM) has inaugurated its Borno State Chapter, marking a significant milestone in its expansion across the state.

The inauguration ceremony, attended by stakeholders, community leaders, and youth representatives, was graced by Dr Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the movement who commended the resilience and unity of the people of Borno.
Tanko conveyed the condolences of Mr Peter Obi to the Governor, families of victims, and the people of Borno following the recent tragic killings in Darajamal.
The team stated that in spite of attempts to disrupt the event, security personnel ensured peace and order, allowing the programme to continue seamlessly.
The inauguration concluded with the swearing-in of the State Executive Officers, marking the beginning of a new era of active engagement and visionary leadership.
The Obedient Movement reaffirmed its commitment to promoting inclusive governance, fostering peace, and advancing grassroots development.
Tanko in his address noted that the successful inauguration demonstrated the will of the people to prevail in the face of challenges, guided by unity, discipline, and determination.(NAN)
