‎Gov. Alia appointees tasks constituents on voter registration, rolls out the Governor’s scorecard

‎Appointees of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia from Mbayegh/Mbaikyer council ward of Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State, have tasked their people to actively participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

‎Addressing the people of the ward on recently in Konshisha, the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Engr. Mlumun Ikpaahindi, Private Secretary and PSA on ICT and New Media to the Governor, Comrade Angula Bishop Reuben as well as the Executive Secretary, Benue Investment and Promotion Agency, Dr. Terhemen Kpenkaan, all emphasized that the Continuous voter registration process was a critical step towards ensuring citizens’ active participation in the upcoming elections.

‎While encouraging their people and all eligible voters in Konshisha LGA to troop out massively and take advantage of the opportunity, they stressed that it is their only power to be able to reelect governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia and other credible leaders of their choice into office, come 2027.

‎Highlighting some of the achievements of the governor in two years in office,the Governor’s Technical Adviser on Infrastructure said tremendous efforts were put in place by the Alia led administration to ensure the rural dwellers enjoyed the basic amenities needed to better their livelihoods.

She said the renovation of primary health care centres and construction of most rural roads to link the urban areas and the rural electrification projects were top priorities in this administration.

“Renovation of schools and youth empowerment programmes ; provision of farm inputs for food security as prompt payment of salaries and wages were few of more ongoing and projects planned by the state government,she said.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of gifts and entertainment worth millions of naira to the people of Mbayegh/Mbaikyer council ward by the appointees.
