Governor Alia takes transformation to Mbayegh/Mbaikyer community

Engr. Mlumun Ikpaahindi,Technical Adviser to the Governor of Benue on Infrastructure has commended the Governor for his developmental strides, which the Mbayegh/Mbaiker council ward in Konshisha LGA has benefited.
In an interview with newsmen the Technical Adviser thanked the Governor of Benue, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for the approval for the construction of Ujima bridge in her community.
According to her : I facilitated a bridge through The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and it was approved by the governor, The contractor resumed to site today ,so we introduced them to community members before work commenced.
“I want to, on behalf of the entire community heartily thank our Governor for this wonderful dividends of democracy, and also want to extend our thanks to the State Project Coordinator RAAMP Hon. Stephen Numbeve” she said.

She thanked the governor for opening up rural areas to enhance economic activities .
Adding that Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s administration is indeed transforming Benue State.
The Adviser urged the community to protect the workers and logistics as it was of great benefit to generations to come.
She also said that the bridge is expected to boost socio-economic activities in the area, known for agricultural produce.
The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) came into place in Nigeria with the mandate to elicit agricultural marketing using rural road construction as a major component that will ease transportation to the respective markets.
In essence, the project targets the commercialisation of agricultural products at strategic market locations of the hinterlands that will coordinate farmers’ produce to the market.
