The Founder and General Overseer of God’s Ebigberi Ministry Inc., Kpakiama, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, Apostle Green Embelede, has called on Nigerians, especially Christians, to revive the true spirit of evangelism as demonstrated in John 1:37, 45–46 by Philip and Nathaniel.

Apostle Embelede made the call during the 31st National Convention of His Presence Favoured Bible Church Outreach International Inc., held at Akugbene community in Bomadi LGA.

He stressed that every genuinely converted and convinced Christian must carry the Come and See message as a divine responsibility to fulfil God’s mandate in their families, churches, and society at large. According to him, Come and See is a testimonial expression symbolizing God’s ability to turn waste situations into the best, and a core message of soul-winning, which he described as the hallmark of Christian faith.

Embelede noted that the message represented good news that should be shared without hesitation so that others may benefit. He added that the convention’s theme would not only strengthen the church but also rekindle spiritual consciousness in a world going through perilous times.

He highlighted that the testimonies of Philip and Nathaniel brought enlightenment, harmony, courage, fulfillment, happiness, and helped to drive revival, transformation, and positive values. He warned Christians against taking God’s mercies for granted, adding that unforgiveness, malice, hatred, and lies are unworthy traits in the life of anyone committed to preaching the gospel.

Thanking the host church for choosing a timely theme, he said: “Believing and surrendering to God in totality will turn waste situations into the best and disappoint those who mocked you. Be committed to the things of God because you will be divinely rewarded.”

Earlier, the General Overseer of His Presence Favoured Bible Church Outreach International Inc., Rev. Joseph Blark, said the theme, was designed by God to reset lives and give believers reasons to testify.

Blark expressed appreciation for the support received and urged participants to apply the teachings of the convention for the betterment of their lives, families, church, and society. He reminded them that they are God’s ambassadors with great missions to accomplish.
