Vice Chancellor hails Akugbene community for attaching value to education

The Vice Chancellor, Africa University. Toru-Orua , Bayelsa State Professor Solomon Tamaraubrakemi Ebobrah has commended the people of Akugbene community for the value attached to education, saying that the overwhelming reception accorded him was a shock and call for more hard work.
Speaking shortly after reception ceremony at AKUGBENE COMMUNITY in Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State on his appointment as Vice Chancellor of Africa University, Toru-Orua, Bayelsa State Prof. Ebobrah stated that he was grateful to the community and the people for the recognition and encouragement.
According to him prioritizing education is the best approach to improving the lives and we’ll being of the people in the community and helping them to make their Community better.

In his words ” human capital is the most important ingriedient for meaningful and prosperity. You can not have proper human capital development without a education. ”
He added that the community leadership have taken the right step which investment will help the development process of the community.
Professor Ebobrah therefore thanked HRM Pere SP. Luke, pere kalanama Viii (JP) pere of AKUGBENE-Mein Kingdom for being foresighted and thoughtful, contribution and great leadership.
Earlier , HRM Pere SP Luke said ” we are not only celebrating the feat Prof. Ebobrah have attained academically but your exceptional leadership qualities, your strength of character and your undeniable humility. We are extremely proud to have you” says, SP Luke.
He emphasised that the appointment of ProfEbobrah no doubt was a clear testimony of hard work, diligence, grace and His abundant glory.
