2023: SDP Presidential candidate, Adebayo denies alliance with Tinubu

…Says APC needs deliverance, sanitization to contemplate joining SDP

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, Presidential Candidate for the 2023 election, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has said that the party has no plan to join forces with the APC’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Prince Adebayo, who spoke in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, debunked the rumour making round that the party was planning to merge with the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

The SDP Presidential hopeful maintained that APC has failed Nigerians in all sectors, saying that the ruling party needs deliverance and sanitization, saying that it has brought bad luck to Nigerians.

He accused the President, Muhammadu Buhari of insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians in the areas of insecurity and economy downturn, insisted that his party would not form any alliance with APC ahead 2023

Adebayo, who said APC is a corrupt party, warned that the party would only provide a worst president than Buhari if Tinubu is voted for by Nigerians in the forthcoming election.

While calling on Nigerians to vote for SDP during the forthcoming elections, he stressed that SDP is the only party that could deliver Nigerians from the current hardships.

According to him, “Who is Tinubu, he is not here, this is the party of Abiola. We can’t merge with APC and if they want to merge with us, I don’t know because they haven’t told us, if they want to merge with us, we have to take them for deliverance and sanitization, because how do you merge with such bad luck, they had mismanaged the nation’s economy.

“If we are important and they want to merge with us, they can join SDP, and queue up because many of them used to be members of SDP before they joined corruption.

“What we want to do now is not about them because Nigerian people have a choice.”
