A Muslim leader and People’s Democratic Party, PDP stalwart in Delta State, Alhaji (Barr.) Mumakai Unagha has called on former governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the just concluded general elections in the state, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to discontinue further litigation against the victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwo.

Alhaji Unagha charged Omo-Agege to allow peace to reign to enable Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to carry out his laudable programs of developing the state.

Alhaji Unagha made the appeal, while congratulating the Governor over his Appeal Court judgment, which affirmed his election victory.

Alhaji Unagha, a renowned legal practitioner noted in a statement he personally signed, which a copy was made available to NEW ERA that Sen. Omo-Agege should stop chasing shadow, noting that the emergence of Sheriff is divine and not man made.

He said since no man fights God and succeed adding that every person or persons should sheath their sword and allow the state to move on.

He said gone are those days when people come to power through the back door stressing that, that era has come and gone

Alhaji Unagha who was also a former Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs to the immediate past Governor Sen.Okowa noted that it is only God that gives power.

He advised Sen. Agege not to take a further legal action since it is obvious that those fighting the governor are fighting God. Nobody fight God and succeeds.

He congratulated the governor for the victory, while discribing it as good for democracy and the rule of law.
