An opinion leader in Delta State, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha has condemned in the strongest term the gruesome murdered of military personnel in Okuama in Ughelli South local government area of the state .
Similarly, he criticized the hasty burning down of the community and killings of innocent people, adding that those involved should be brought to book.
He said the military authority should not take hasty decision so as to get to the bottom of killings
Alhaji Unagha stated that there are more to it as who invited the military from port Harcourt instead of Delta state.
The civil rights lawyer noted that although he is not defending or speaking for the Okuama people but that security agent cannot enter Delta State without being informed.
He said, the Urhobo people are not known to carrying arms against constituted authority, let alone killing of security personnel, that is reason the killing should be investigated as it shocked the average Urhobo person.
He symperthised with the military authority and the Delta State government on the killings.
Alhaji Unagha said some persons through their company has been linked to the crisis. He said there should be no hiding place for those involved.
