An Urhobo ethnic nationality leader and civil rights activist, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha has declined to join or mobilize the people to join the proposed nationwide protest being organised by a section of the country scheduled for 29gh of July
He said, he cannot participate in the destruction of the house he laboured to build.
Alhaji Unagha stated this when he received a delegation of a group known as concerned Nigerians who came to woo him to mobilize for the proposed hunger protest.
Declining the call, he said yes, there is hunger in the country but he will not join or mobilize for the protest.
He noted that the democracy some persons are looting, they fought with much sacrifices for it
According to him, as bad as the BUHARI’s administration, nobody protested against him, therefore, the planned protest is ill conceived and in bad faith.
The out spoken Urhobo leader urged those behind the protest to sheath their plans adding that government is a continuous stressing that they should wait for their turn.
The former presidential Aspirant in the 2019 election told Nigerians to be wise, no to allow them to be used to Scottie our democracy. He pleaded with the Urhobos not to join the protest.
He however called on the President to urgently address the hunger in the country and the economic challenges.
