Ekiti Community to Confer Chieftaincy Awards on Indigenes

The Ipoti Community of Ekiti state has said that it has concluded preparations to honour it’s illustrious sons and daughters who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the community with chieftaincy tilles during this year’s festival celebration,

In a statement in Abuja on Friday by the Ipoti Community Association chairman, Hon Garba Sola Arogundande noted that the chieftaincy award was in recognition of the sacrifice and services made by the awardees in the transformation and development of the community as well as to encourage them for more service to the community.

Amongst those to be honoured include , Seun Abosede Osamaye, Margaret Fagboyo, Tunrayo Akintomide, Ojo Glova Oluwasegun, and Jennifer Nwokolo Intimidated

The award event which will be held during the Ipoti Day Celebration, November 8 , will be bestowed by Oba Kolade Oladipupo James, the Olupoti of Ipoti Kingdom“This year’s celebrations are particularly special as we honour individuals who have made significant impacts on our community, We invite all residents and friends of Ipoti to join us as we celebrate the achievements of our honourees and foster a sense of pride and unity among us.” Arogundande siad

Activities lined up for the festival celebration include cultural display, community engagement, food exhibition amongst others.
