SDP excited as Prince Adebayo bags Honorary Doctorate

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, has expressed excitement over the conferment of a Doctor of Political Science (D.Pol) degree its 2023 presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, by Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State.
The Acting National Chairman, Dr. Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, in a statement he personally signed described the honour as well-deserved and inspiring.
Gombe noted that that the honour reflects Adebayo’s exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s development.
He further stressed that the award celebrates his impactful work as an international lawyer, prominent political figure, public intellectual, media entrepreneur, businessman, philanthropist, and passionate advocate for human capital development.
The party also commended Adebayo for donating a new postgraduate building to Western Delta University the Macualay and Margaret Omugbe Postgraduate Block named in honour of his father and mother-in-law.
It expressed deep appreciation for his unwavering support to the party across national and sub-national structures, reaffirming its confidence in his vision for a transformed Nigeria built on strong institutions, economic rejuvenation, peace, security, and sustainable development.
It further lauded his commitment to fighting poverty and promoting the greatest good for the greatest number of Nigerians an effort that has continued to earn him recognition at home and abroad.
The SDP extended warm wishes to Prince Adebayo, while celebrating his latest achievement and expressing hopes for more milestones in his service to the nation.
